The Project Sakura Wars TGS 2019 showcase just ended and Sega revealed quite a bit about the upcoming PS4 cross genre game. Sega also released two trailers for Project Sakura Wars. The first focusses on the story while the second has new gameplay details. Both trailers feature amazing music from Kohei Tanaka who most might know from the One Piece anime or Gravity Rush games. Project Sakura Wars’ TGS 2019 showcase also introduced new characters and revealed more details about previously introduced characters. Just like Yakuza 7, Project Sakura Wars sees a drastic gameplay change compared to earlier entries. So far, all the gameplay has looked superb and the game definitely looks polished ahead of its release this December on PS4. Watch the gameplay trailer below:
Project Sakura Wars releases on PlayStation 4 on December 12 in Japan. The Western release will be in 2020 for PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe.
