Back in October last year, NIS America announced the Western release of R-Type Final 2 from Granzella for PS4, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC with a Spring 2021 release window. The newest instalment in the shoot ’em up series that features enhanced and evolved combat, more customisation, performance-based difficulty, and more now has a confirmed English release date. It will be released on PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. On Xbox, it is also getting an Xbox Series X|S release. Watch the new R-Type Final 2 trailer below:
For the physical release, there is an Inaugural Flight Edition available and a Limited Edition that is exclusive to the NIS America store.
