Resident Evil 3 Remake’s Jill Valentine may be a playable character in upcoming Resident Evil 2 Remake DLC. An achievement was recently added to the PS4, Steam, and Xbox One versions of the Resident Evil 2 Remake. The achievement added to the Resident Evil 2 Remake is called ‘Chasing Jill’ and its only description is ‘Read a letter left behind by Jill’.  Outside of this brief description, details on what to expect were scant on PS4 and Steam. However the Xbox One achievement had with it a high resolution image of the Resident Evil 3 Remake protagonist Jill Valentine in conversation with Robert Kendo, the gun shop owner of Resident Evil 2 (pictured above).

Unearthed by Rely on Horror, the existence of such an image suggests that Capcom may reveal new DLC for the critically and commercially acclaimed Resident Evil 2 Remake which ties in with the upcoming Resident Evil 3 Remake in a massive way. After all, Xbox One achievements and their details are controlled by game publishers and unless Capcom’s login credentials were compromised, it’s a definite tease on what to expect.

Considering that The Game Awards 2019 are less than a day away, it’s safe to say that Capcom would announce all at the event. The Resident Evil 3 Remake was officially announced at Sony’s final State of Play 2019 stream. Capcom has wasted no time making the hotly anticipated retelling of its PS1 classic available for pre-order. According to a listing spotted on Games The Shop, the Resident Evil 3 Remake India price is Rs. 3,499 on PS4 and Xbox One. Pre-orders are live now.

Resident Evil 3 Remake releases on April 3, 2020 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
