At Sony’s State of Play showcase that had Street Fighter 6, Capcom showcased Resident Evil 4’s remake simply titled Resident Evil 4. It releases in March 2023 and is a current generation-only release. The trailer didn’t showcase much in its initial teaser, but it did confirm that PSVR2 content for it is in development and it showed some new character models and visuals. Resident Evil 4 Remake Deluxe Edition contents and price
The Resident Evil 4 Remake Deluxe Edition includes additional “Casual” and “Romantic” costume sets for Leon and Ashley, as well as ”Hero” and “Villain” costumes for Leon, complete with additional visual filters. You’ll also get the “Original Ver.” Soundtrack Swap, “Sentinel Nine” and “Skull Shaker” Deluxe Weapons, “Sunglasses (Sporty)” accessory for Leon, and “Treasure Map: Expansion” in-game map. Resident Evil 4 Remake Collector’s Edition pre-order and price
The Collector’s Edition is a luxury package that includes the main game, the Deluxe Edition contents, a figure of Leon, an art book, a special physical map, and a digital soundtrack in a decorative box that resembles the attaché case. It is priced at $249.99.
Resident Evil 4 Remake pre-order bonus
There are two Resident Evil 4 Remake pre-order bonuses. The Deluxe Edition pre-order includes additional bonuses.
Pre-orders of the standard edition will receive the exclusive “Attaché Case: Gold” and “Charm: Handgun Ammo” as a bonus. You can customize your attaché case and attach charms wherever typewriters are located in-game. Those who pre-order the Deluxe Edition or Collector’s Edition will also receive the “Attaché Case: Classic” and the “Charm: Green Herb” bonuses.
Resident Evil 4 Remake PlayStation exclusive pre-order bonus
Those who pre-order the digital version from PlayStation Store will also receive a mini soundtrack.
Resident Evil 4 remake for PSVR2
The previous trailer also confirmed that PSVR2 content is in development for Resident Evil 4. It is going to be interesting to see if the base release is fully playable on PSVR2 like the PC VR version is.
