Koei Tecmo Europe just released a new update for Romance of the Three Kingdoms XIV on PS4 and PC. This update is the version 1.11 update on PS4 and it will likely roll out on PC via Steam soon if it hasn’t already been made available. Koei Tecmo has been updating the game a lot since the release date bringing in Chinese voices, new paid DLC, and much more including 60fps gameplay on PC. The patch notes for the December 2020 update have been revealed for PS4 and are likely same for PC. The update download size is 5.342GB on PS4. Update Contents
Function Expansion / Adjustments
- Improved the automatic selection of officers when selecting the Employ command.
- Now, a Merchant icon is displayed next to cities to indicate their presence.
- Added a ‘Merchant’ button to the upper-right Information buttons, allowing players to check where merchants are located.
- Now, the map cursor moves faster in proportion to the amount of time it is pressed.
- Now, dialogue boxes can be confirmed by using either the X or triangle button.
- Now, players can also go to the menu for selecting am arching destination by pressing the triangle button from the window to the right of the Marching settings menu.
- Now, when an officer has been removed from Administration, a marker is displayed under the Force command ‘Appointments’ – ‘Administration’.
Bug fixes
- Corrected an issue in which the game would stop if a certain procedure was performed from the list menu.
- Corrected an issue in which officers would sometimes incorrectly die in battle during tutorials.
- corrected an issue in which the messages for obtaining Ancient officers were incorrectly displayed during the mid-game ending, even in cases where it was impossible to obtain such officers (such as through an editor).
- Other issues and typographical errors were corrected.
