Nintendo just announced the free games for the NES – Nintendo Switch Online and SNES – Nintendo Switch Online apps on Nintendo Switch for this month. After bringing SNES games to the service in September last year, the addition of new games to both apps has been erratic at best. Check out the last set of additions here. Later this week, five games will be added across both apps. Check out the December additions trailer below:

- Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble
- The Ignition Factor
- Super Valis IV
- Tuff E Nuff
NES Nintendo Switch Online games for December 2020
- Nightshade
All five games will be available beginning December 18 through updates to the NES and SNES Nintendo Switch Online apps.
Super NES and NES Nintendo Switch Online games for December 2020 in Japan
The additions for Japan (via Gematsu) are Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong’s Double Trouble, The Ignition Factor, Kunio-kun no Dodgeball da yo Zenin Shuugo, and Sugoi Hebereke alongside Konami’s Ping Pong for NES.
The Super NES and NES Nintendo Switch Online games for this month go live on December 18 for all subscribers to Nintendo Switch Online.
