At Sony’s State of Play last year, Square Enix announced Star Ocean: The Divine Force for consoles and PC. Star Ocean: The Divine Force is developed by tri-Ace and is the 25th anniversary game for the Star Ocean series and it recently released worldwide for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Steam. The soundtrack from Motoi Sakuraba has now released digitally and physically worldwide. Watch the Star Ocean: The Divine Force soundtrack trailer below:

Following the launch of Star Ocean: The Divine Force, I’m interested to see if we get any patches to fix the few annoying issues it has right now. I just started playing it on PS5 last night, and while the final build is improved over the demo, it still needs a bit of work in areas like text size. On the PC side, I will be playing Star Ocean: The Divine Force on Steam Deck and my laptop to check out the port in the near future.

Star Ocean: The Divine Force is out now worldwide on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam worldwide.
