Bandai Namco Entertainment just hiked the price of Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris on Steam in many regions. For some countries including India, the price has more than doubled. When I wrote about the various editions and price on PC via Steam for India, I mentioned how it might be worth pre-ordering it to ensure you don’t miss out on it like with My Hero One’s Justice 2 that isn’t available for purchase here anymore on Steam. The price on Steam for Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris was Rs. 1,299 until last night. It is now Rs. 2,999 for the Month 1 Edition. The Deluxe Month 1 Edition has been priced at Rs. 3,499 which is up from Rs. 2,099. The price was also increased in Indonesia, South Africa, Singapore, and more.
With India, Bandai Namco Entertainment games are very hard to predict when it comes to pricing. Some games like God Eater 3 stick to the recommended regional pricing by Valve while others have their own conversion rate. There are even extreme outliers like Jump Force that cost more on Steam than they do on consoles.
Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris PC editions
There are two digital editions available for Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris. The Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris Month 1 Edition includes the base game and four costumes from the design contest. This edition is available until June 22. The Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris Deluxe Month 1 Edition includes the following:

- Premium Pass which includes 2 Major Expansions and a Special Costume as a bonus
- Virtual currency : 200 SAO coins
Sword Art Online Alicization Lycoris releases on May 22 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
