Clouded Leopard Entertainment just announced ports of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel and Trails of Cold Steel II for Nintendo Switch in Asia and Japan. Trails of Cold Steel and Trails of Cold Steel II debuted in the West on PS3 and PS Vita before seeing ports to PC and the definitive releases on PS4 with all DLC included after that. Nintendo Switch owners only had Trails of Cold Steel III arrive earlier this year with Trails of Cold Steel IV set for 2021. In Japan, the first two games in the Trails of Cold Steel series will also be on Switch in Summer 2021. Watch the PS4 trailer for Trails of Cold Steel below:
Trails of Cold Steel Nintendo Switch English release
As of now, Clouded Leopard Entertainment has only announced this for Japan and Asia. An English release has not been hinted at. Hopefully Xseed Games and Falcom can work on this to allow Nintendo Switch owners outside Asia and Japan to play these classics.
Trails of Cold Steel and Trails of Cold Steel II are now available on PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and PC platforms.
