Falcom just showcased a pretty lengthy trailer for the upcoming mainline PS4 Ys game, Ys IX: Monstrum Nox. Ys IX is less than a month away in Japan and after slowly revealing more about the game with characters, music, and then limited editions, Falcom has released a pretty long trailer for TGS 2019 that has new music, new gameplay, and even a look at some of the more open areas in the game. Ys IX will have a playable demo at Konami’s booth at TGS 2019. As of now a localisation hasn’t been announced but as with most Falcom releases, we need to wait until the Japanese release is out for any localisation news. NIS America will most likely be the publisher of Ys IX in the West given that they released Ys VIII and are soon releasing Trails of Cold Steel III in North America and Europe.
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is set to release on September 26 on PS4.
