Spike Chunsoft’s Zero Escape: The Nonary Games includes remastered versions of 999 and Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward. The collection debuted on PS4, PS Vita, and PC via Steam a few years ago. It has just been confirmed for Xbox platforms including Xbox Game Pass by the official Xbox Game Pass mid March reveal. Spike Chunsoft previously released AI: The Somnium Files and Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc on Xbox Game Pass and this will be the first time Zero Escape has released on Xbox. Zero Escape: The Nonary Games releases on March 22 for Xbox Game Pass, PC Game Pass, and xCloud. As of this writing, it is unclear if this is Xbox One X or Xbox Series X|S optimized.
I’m surprised to see Zero Escape: The Nonary Games hit Xbox, but will definitely replay these classics later in the month. Both of these adventure games are superlative with fantastic stories and puzzles. It is great to see Spike Chunsoft bring them to Xbox to expand the audience.
