Monster Hunter Rise from Capcom releases this Friday on Nintendo Switch and it is one of the best games you can play on Nintendo’s hybrid system. Read my review here. Having put in over 100 hours already, it is going to be interesting to see how much Capcom brings to the game with each free update. Ahead of the Monster Hunter Rise release date, the Monster Hunter Rise version 1.1.1 update which is the Monster Hunter Rise day one patch, is out now. This update adds support for scanning amiibo, claiming DLC, the demo save data bonus, and more. The Monster Hunter Rise day one patch download size is around 581MB. Added game features:

  • amiibo can now be scanned to enter a lottery at the Market. Some amiibo will allow you to receive bonuses.
  • Downloadable content including pre-order bonus, Deluxe Kit content, can now be accessed.

Major adjustments

  • Miscellaneous bug fixes have been made.
