Yakuza: Like a Dragon arrives in the West this November on PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Steam and it is arriving with a lot of DLC across three editions. There is a separate edition for retail and three digital editions for the game on all platforms. This guide will cover all the DLC releasing for Yakuza: Like a Dragon, the contents of the editions, pricing, and more.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon editions
- Yakuza: Like a Dragon Day Ichi Edition includes the base game, legends costume set (including eight costumes), and a SteelBook.
- Yakuza: Like a Dragon Hero Edition is a digital edition including two extra playable jobs, extra employees.
- Yakuza: Like a Dragon Legendary Hero Edition is a digital edition including the above in addition to bonus crafting, karaoke, ultimate costumes, and stat boost items.
The Yakuza: Like a Dragon Day Ichi Edition is priced at $59.99, the Hero Edition is priced at $69.99, and the Legendary Hero Edition is priced at $89.99. In India, Yakuza: Like A Dragon is priced at Rs. 2,499, Rs. 2,999, and Rs. 3,899 on Steam. On the Microsoft Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X, Yakuza: Like A Dragon is priced at Rs. 3,498.99, Rs. 3,999, and Rs. 5,699. On the PS Store for PS4, it is priced at Rs. 3,499, Rs. 3,999, and Rs. 5,699.

How to get DLC in Yakuza: Like a Dragon
The DLC in Yakuza: Like a Dragon can be purchased on the PS Store, Microsoft Store, or Steam. Once you have bought DLC or redeemed your pre-order code, you need to check your smartphone in-game. This is unlocked after a bit of progression in the main story. In the smartphone, there’s a tab for DLC which lets you activate and access DLC. You can also access the DLC store from here.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon Karaoke Set DLC details
Sega confirmed that despite the name, this DLC adds songs for the jukebox and not the karaoke mini-game. The contents are as follows:
The Yakuza: Like a Dragon Karaoke Set includes all the karaoke packages and adds the new karaoke songs to the jukebox at Survive Bar. New Karaoke Hits adds full Japanese and short English versions of the following songs:

The Yakuza: Like a Dragon Job Set includes the Devil Rocker and Matriarch jobs. Devil Rocker is a playable job for Ichiban, Adachi, Nanba, Joon-Gi, and Zhao. Matriarch is a playable job for Saeko and Eri. The Devil Rocker job lets you use an electric guitar as a weapon while the Matriarch job lets you take on enemies with a naginata and other heavy weaponry.

The Yakuza: Like a Dragon Management Mode Set includes three sets of Management Mode Employees. The Legendary Employees set adds Kazuma Kiryu, Goro Majima, Taiga Saejima, Daigo Dojima, and Masaru Watase to the Management Mode roster. The Reliable Employees set adds Makoto Date, Seong-hui, Nick Ogata, and Hamako to the Management Mode roster. The Hostess Employees set adds Yuki and Koyuki to the Management Mode roster.
Can you upgrade to the Yakuza: Like a Dragon Legendary Hero Edition?
As of now, there are no details for this. For Persona 5 Royal, there was an upgrade option for all DLC so hopefully Sega allows for one here for the people who buy the retail edition.
Is New Game Plus mode paid DLC for Yakuza: Like A Dragon?
While this was paid DLC in Japan through the Additional Challenge Expansion Pack, the English release includes it for free in the base game.
Yakuza: Like a Dragon releases this holiday season on PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, Windows 10, and Steam. It is available to pre-order on PS4 and Xbox One/Xbox Series X here. The PS5 version will release later.
