No More Heroes 3 from Grasshopper Manufacture is finally available worldwide on Nintendo Switch after a long wait which has been worth it. Read my review of it here. Since the details of what unlocks after you finish the story are covered here, consider this a spoiler warning if you want to play the game without knowing anything relating to the post game in No More Heroes 3.
There are two aspects to this. One set of unlocks for when you finish the game and what carries over into New Game Plus mode in No More Heroes 3. Here’s what you need to know.
No More Heroes 3 unlocks after finishing the game
You unlock the following when you finish a single playthrough of No More Heroes 3:
- New Game Plus mode
- Carolina Reaper Difficulty
- New clothing items: NMH1, NMH1 (Jacket Off), NMH2, NMH2 (Jacket Off), TSA, and TSA (Jacket Off)
You can then continue challenging bosses in the Time Machine at higher difficulties if you’d like, do more volunteer work, explore and find more collectibles, and basically freely roam around the map.
No More Heroes 3 new game plus – what carries over
When you start New Game Plus mode in No More Heroes 3, you can carry over all the current skills and items you have. You also carry over Uc and WESN to upgrade anything you want to or to buy items. This lets you aim for 100% completion and play the game in New Game Plus mode.
