This includes the Mitama Dance of Wealth DLC, Mitama Dance of Experience DLC, and the Mitama Dance of Miracles DLC for Shin Megami Tensei V. How to access Shin Megami Tensei V Mitama Dance of Wealth, Experience, and Miracles DLC
Once you have purchased the Mitama DLC or the Shin Megami Tensei V Digital Deluxe Edition, there will be three new options available in the in-game options menu. These can be accessed from the system menu. Press X and then scroll down to System and then Options. Then scroll to the bottom to change the Mitama Appearance rate for the Macca, EXP, or Glory Mitamas.
I’d recommend doing this one at a time so you can focus on grinding one thing at a time in a safe area. Toggling them all will make things a bit hectic as you try and get a specific item or experience while avoiding other demons. Toggling all of them from the start will make it so you encounter a lot more Mitama in your normal progression though.
The Shin Megami Tensei V Mitama Dance of Experience DLC lets you earn Gospel to gain enough experience for Nahobino to level up or Grimoire to let your demons gain enough experience to level up. The Shin Megami Tensei V Dance of Wealth DLC lets you earn more Macca when you defeat a Mitama and get items that you can sell to Gustave for a lot of Macca. The Shin Megami Tensei V Dance of Miracles DLC lets you fight Mitama to gain consumables to give you Glory.
Shin Megami Tensei V How to easily grind using Mitama DLC
The most efficient and safest way to grind in Shin Megami Tensei V, is to toggle one of the three appearance rates while in an area that has demons lower level than you. This will ensure you don’ t get attacked often, and can focus on the Mitama. Once you initiate combat with Mitama, use a spyglass and then attack the weakness with an item or skill.
You can do this in any area, but need to be careful to not get attacked by enemies you aren’t familiar with. If you’re looking to grind in a single spot for a bit, do this one at a time so start with farming experience items and then move to glory or items to sell for Macca.
Is the Shin Megami Tensei V Digital Deluxe Edition worth it?
The grinding Mitama DLC will be worth it if you want to save time. Shin Megami Tensei V doesn’t have the same balance issues that Shin Megami Tensei IV had so these aren’t essential. You could also just use the safety/merciful difficulty if you’re having a rough time. Beyond that, the new quests and Demi Fiend DLC are good for veteran Shin Megami Tensei fans.
If you own the standard edition and want to upgrade, it will cost you about $30 to get all the DLC individually while the Shin Megami Tensei V Digital Deluxe Edition includes everything for about $5 less. There is no pre-order bonus and no content is locked out if you don’t buy Shin Megami Tensei V early so there is no need to stress over that.

Shin Megami Tensei V ships with English voices on the cartridge / digital base game. Japanese voices are available as free DLC. Once you’ve downloaded the free Japanese Voices DLC, you will be able to toggle the Japanese voice track option.
Shin Megami Tensei V – How to use Japanese audio or voices?
To use Japanese voices, you need to download the free Shin Megami Tensei V Japanese Voices DLC from the eShop and then launch the game once it is downloaded and the game is updated. The download size is 3.5GB for this DLC.
