Once you have access to the Bloom Palace very early into the game, you can access an entrance to new dungeons from within. The Training Area lets you enter a dungeon to fight enemies that grant you Tomes. You can also gain Tomes from items that are in the corners of the dungeon. These items vanish after some time so you need to be quick about it. A Tome gives you enough experience for a full level up early on in the game. All enemies in these dungeons grow stronger as time goes by so you might need to exit and enter them again if the enemies become too strong.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore on Nintendo Switch includes paid DLC from the Wii U version in the base game. Once you have access to the Bloom Palace very early into the game, you can access an entrance to new dungeons from within. The Training Area has items available at each corner. These can include gold bars. These items vanish after some time so you need to be quick about it. Sell a gold bar for 50,000 Yen. This is the easiest way to earn money in the beginning of the game. All enemies in these dungeons grow stronger as time goes by so you might need to exit and enter them again if the enemies become too strong.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore on Nintendo Switch includes paid DLC from the Wii U version in the base game. Once you have access to the Bloom Palace very early into the game, you can access an entrance to new dungeons from within. The Mastery Area lets you quickly unlock Skill Books. A Skill Book grants enough mastery to learn the next skill. You can enter this dungeon as many times as you want and earn multiple Skill Books through items or as rewards from battles. All enemies in these dungeons grow stronger as time goes by so you might need to exit and enter them again if the enemies become too strong.

You can access the Tokyo map by pressing X and then choose any location available to instantly travel there. If you are in a dungeon, you can use the Traport skill that Tsubasa has to instantly teleport back to the Fortuna Office.

Access the menu by pressing Y and then select Wardrobe. You can change equipment and accessories here in addition to changing costumes.

How to to escape savage enemy encounters easily

Savage Enemies are indicated by dark blue mirages in the idolasphere. They cannot be stunned or deflected and your only option is running away or escaping once you enter a combat encounter with them. These are very powerful enemies that scale with Itsuki’s level and are always multiple levels above your party. While you can try to escape through the escape battle command, you’re better off using a smoke machine item to guarantee an escape. If you’re feeling overconfident, you can try taking them on to earn useful items.

Remember to heal before boss fights by using warp points

Once you unlock a new warp point in a dungeon, use it to teleport back to the exit and then heal up from a vending machine. This doesn’t consume any items and costs very little for a full heal.

How to unlock the Persona 5 Joker costume in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore

You can unlock the Rebellious Joker (Persona 5 Joker) outfit for Itsuki in the Area of Aspiration (accessed through the gate in the Bloom Palace) through a treasure box. Once unlocked, you can equip it through the wardrobe option in the menu.

The EX Story in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore is new story content exclusive to the Nintendo Switch version of the game. You can access the EX Story by talking to Tiki in the Bloom Palace after you reach Chapter 2. The beginning of the new story content has you enter the Area of Aspiration in through the gate in the Bloom Palace that also has DLC dungeons. You can progress the EX Story from here to view new scenes, unlock new skills, costumes, and more.

How to heal your party in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore

The best way to heal your party is by having a meal or drink at a vending machine in and around Tokyo in game. This heals your full party and restores all EP. Remember to do this whenever you unlock a new warp point in a dungeon.

Exploit enemy weaknesses in Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore

Once you know an enemy’s weakness, when selecting an attack or skill, you you will see an exclamation mark on the target that indicates you are attacking with something that will do extra damage. This results in session followup attacks that see your party members and even non-party members join in for combo attacks that do massive damage. Remember to always try out new skills on new enemies and then always exploit enemy weakness.

Save often while in dungeons

Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE Encore is very lenient about saving. You can save almost anywhere which makes it a perfect fit for portable play. The game doesn’t have auto save so remember to save often, even in dungeons, to avoid losing progress if you get a game over screen.
