Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night from Castlevania series producer Koji Igarashi has had an early release in some parts of the world. The action-adventure game published by 505 Games had its street date broken earlier this week. The Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night release date is June 25, 2019 and stores have been selling it as early as June 11, a full two weeks before its official date. Usually early releases happen in regions like Europe and the Middle East, this time around however, game stores in New York have put a damper on proceedings by releasing Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night ahead of its official release date.
PS4 and Xbox One stock of Bloodstained found its way to stores early and were eventually posted on Instagram as well.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night India price and release date
Unlike most niche Japanese games, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is getting an official release at retail in India courtesy E-xpress. The distributor has a tie-up with publisher 505 Games which should see it hit the shelves on June 25. Perplexingly, the Nintendo Switch and Xbox One variants of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night won’t be making it to the country. The Mako Reactor has got in touch with the distributor to find out why. Though if we had to hazard a guess, it probably has to do with the PS4 having an install base that significantly dwarfs the other two platforms.
With Judgment, Super Mario Maker 2, and Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fuelled all out this month, perhaps the early (albeit seemingly unofficial) release of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night may work to the game’s advantage. June is a surprisingly crowded month despite E3 2019 hogging all the limelight.
