Following the release, Bandai Namco Entertainment and FromSoftware’s Elden Ring has just been updated to version 1.03.3 (regulation update) on all platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox, and Steam. This is the fifth update following the launch day release and update. The Elden Ring April update patch has started rolling out worldwide now. The update download size is very small on PS5, PS4, and on Steam (1.8MB). It includes gameplay balance adjustments and bug fixes relating to the Starscourge Radahn boss fight. Elden Ring version April update patch notes
Once you download the new April update on PS4, you can verify that you are on the latest patch by checking that the titlescreen of the game displays App Ver. 1.03.2 and Calibrations Ver. 1.03.3. The April update PS4 patch notes are below:
- Fixed a bug in the balance adjustment of the boss “Starscourge Radahn” in update 1.03, in which the power of some attacks was unintentionally reduced.

Bandai Namco Entertainment confirmed that ray tracing will come later on as well. Hopefully FromSoftware can focus on improving performance on consoles and PC before ray tracing because the game on PC is still not in a great state right now.
