PS4-exclusive Ghost of Tsushima has released to rave reviews and now Sony India has revealed that the Ghost of Tsushima Collector’s Edition is now available in India at a price of Rs. 10,999. However don’t expect it to be easy to find.

“Ghost of Tsushima Collector’s Edition is now available in limited quantity at Rs. 10,999,” confirmed a Sony spokesperson to The Mako Reactor. “Limited Stocks will be available offline at select game stores and online at Amazon.”

A listing was spotted on Bengaluru-based PrepaidGamerCard.com and we won’t be surprised to see it hit other stores soon enough as Sony doesn’t usually have exclusive arrangements with retailers for specific variants of the game. For now though, you should check with your local retailer.

Earlier in the month, a listing for Ghost of Tsushima Collector’s Edition went live on independent retailer MCube Games for the same price. However it was taken down later. MCube confirmed this was an error on its part while a spokesperson for Sony told The Mako Reactor that the listing wasn’t official to begin with.

We’d speculate that Sony hadn’t locked on a quantity or ascertained demand before MCube put up its page. That said, it’s really odd to see India get stock so late versus the rest of the world where it sold out pre-release. Though by Sony India standards, this has been par for the course this generation.

Ghost of Tsushima Collector’s Edition India price and contents

The Ghost of Tsushima Collector’s Edition includes the following:

  • Replica mask with individually-numbered display stand
  • Sashimono (war banner)
  • Traditional-style furoshiki (wrapping cloth)
  • 48-page mini art-book by Dark Horse
  • Artistic rendition of the game’s world map on cloth
  • All items in the Digital Deluxe Edition
  • SteelBook case with the game

It is worth noting that this price for the Ghost of Tsushima Collector’s Edition is almost in line with The Last of Us Part 2 Collector’s Edition and is should be lower than expected considering the international price of GBP 159.99 which is approximately Rs. 15,000.

Previously, The Mako Reactor exclusively reported that Ghost of Tsushima had sold out in India on release day. Now sources in the supply chain are telling us they expect new shipments of the game to arrive by next week. So if the Ghost of Tsushima Collector’s Edition is too expensive for you and you need a physical edition, you’re better off waiting.
