Following the reveal of new characters, the Digital Novel, and the soundtrack for Master Detective Archives: Rain Code (Enigma Archives: Rain Code), Too Kyo Games and Spike Chunsoft have released new gameplay and character details. The Master Detective Archives: Rain Code new gameplay details include the reveal of an unsolved case in the early game, the church, and the death of a student. The new characters are Kurumi Wendy voiced by Lisa Reimold (EN) and Megumi Toda (JP) and the Masked Man voiced by Brandon Winckler (EN) and Atsumi Tanezaki (JP). Check out the new screenshots below:

The Master Detective Archives: Rain Code Digital Deluxe Edition pre-orders are now live on the eShop. Check it out here. This is priced at $89.99 and is discounted to $79.99 during the pre-order period. It includes the following:
- Game – Master Detective Archives: RAIN CODE
- Digital Art Book – The Book of Death
- Digital Soundtrack – Noise of Neon
- Season Pass – Four DLC with substories featuring Master Detectives
The DLC can be used with full version of game and will be released sequentially after full version of game is released. Individual DLC can be downloaded from Nintendo eShop. Digital art book and digital soundtrack cannot be played in game. These are applications separate from full version of game.

Following the Master Detective Archives: Rain Code Switch new characters and editions revealed today, I’m curious to see if we get a demo for the game in the lead up to its June launch. Hopefully this runs a lot better than the Danganronpa Decadence release did on Nintendo Switch when it released.
