Back in September 2020, FDG Entertainment and Game Atelier announced a PS5 and Xbox Series X|S update for Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom. Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom debuted on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch platforms before seeing a PC release a little later. Today, FDG Entertainment released the Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom PS5 upgrade on the PS Store. This will let existing disc owners upgrade for free and digital owners access a free PS5 upgrade. How to upgrade Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom to PS5 from PS4
If you have the Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom PS4 disc, you can upgrade for free using the usual disc upgrade option. FDG Entertainment confirmed that the USA physical release will work for the EU version as well. For the digital upgrade, search the store for Monster Boy and one of the first few results will be a Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom free upgrade for PS5. Add that to library and you are good to go.
