Capcom just announced that Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin will add Fatalis as a high difficulty co-op exclusive monster. This will be in the fifth free title update that follows version 1.4.0 update that just launched today. Patch notes for today are here. Monster Hunter Stories 2 update roadmap for October 2021

Monster Hunter Stories 2 is getting big updates introducing Kulve Taroth, deviant monsters as monsties, and a whole lot more.

  • Free title update 1 – July 15: Palamute monstie (out now)
  • Free title update 2 – August 5: Kulve Taroth (co-op), Hellblade Glavenus and Boltreaver Astalos monsties (out now)
  • Free title update 3 – September 2: Soulseer Mizutsune, Eldergrost Gammoth, and Oroshi Kirin monsties (out now)
  • Free title update 4 – September 30: Dreadking Rathalos and Molten Tigrex monsties, High difficulty Kulve Taroth (co-op) (out now)
  • Free title update 5 – October 21: Co-op quest exclusive high difficulty monster Fatalis with Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos monsties joining on October 28 in version 1.5.0.
