After previously revealing details for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne’s final free title version 15.01 update that arrives this October, Capcom also confirmed the next new in-game festival event for the game on all platforms. The Iceborne Fun Fright Fest includes new rewards and armor alongside the usual event extras for login bonuses. The fest has just gone live on all platforms for a limited time letting you login to earn Fun Fright Tickets that you can use for new gear. You can also earn VIP Fun Fright Tickets to craft layered armor. There’s also a new double Furious Rajang quest to craft buff layered armor as shown below:

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Fun Fright Fest start and end date

The Monster Hunter World: Iceborne Fun Fright Fest began this morning and it will go on until November 5 on all platforms. These dates are based on UTC so adjust accordingly for your timezone.

This festival has a spooky theme as showcased in the video above with some superb looking armor and outfits for hunters and NPCs. It is going to be interesting to see if Capcom does any more new events for Monster Hunter World: Iceborne with Monster Hunter Rise set to release in March 2021.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is now available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Read my review of it here.
