Ahead of its release digitally next month, Oninaki from Square Enix just had a demo release on the eShop (USA and Europe) and PSN (USA and Europe with India). Oninaki is Tokyo RPG Factory’s third game following I Am Setsuna and Lost Sphear. This game is an action RPG that looks considerably more ambitious and less held back by traditional JRPG systems. While currently not available for pre-order on PS4 or Steam, the game has gone up for pre-order and preload on Nintendo Switch with a 10% discount on the USA and Europe eShops. Watch the new trailer for it below:

Oninaki demo download size

The demo is available on PS4 and Nintendo Switch and the download sizes are 1.95 GB and 1.4 GB respectively. The PC demo file size will be known when it goes up on Steam later today.

Oninaki demo platforms

Oninaki demo is available on PS4 and Nintendo Switch right now and the PC demo will go live later today.

Oninaki demo save transfer

Progress from the demo carries over to the full game so you may as well download it on your platform of choice to get a head start on the game before it releases next month.

While Oninaki has been listed on Games The Shop for a PS4 retail release, it is releasing digitally outside Japan. Oninaki releases on August 22 for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
