At the Nintendo Direct last night, Nintendo announced a full-fledged sequel to Splatoon 2 in the form of Splatoon 3. Splatoon 3 is set in the City of Chaos and it includes new weapons like the bow, customization options, new movement abilities, and more. Splatoon 3 also features some great new music and hopefully it doesn’t force you to sit through the opening dialogue every single time like Splatoon 2 does. Watch the Splatoon 3 trailer below:

Splatoon 3 is in development for a 2022 release on Nintendo Switch.
