Square Enix just opened a new official music channel on YouTube with over 5,000 songs from the publisher’s rich music catalog now available on YouTube Music. The Square Enix soundtracks on this new channel include various albums from across Final Fantasy, NieR, Mana, and more series. Just like Apple Music and Spotify, don’t expect the newest albums like the Endwalker soundtrack or Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade music on it as of now. Check out the channel here.

It is going to be interesting to see what other publishers follow Square Enix with making its music so easily accessible. Nihon Falcom is still the gold standard with how it makes all soundtracks available without region locks across different services. Capcom has also gotten really good at releasing its music on different services globally alongside the physical CD releases in Japan.

Keep in mind that if you use iTunes to buy any of the newer Square Enix albums that aren’t on streaming services, you can stream them using Apple Music. I’ve done that in the past for some albums that go up on streaming services months after the digital release.

Square Enix soundtracks are now available for streaming worldwide on Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
