Back in April, Nintendo released the last major update for Super Mario Maker 2 in the form of version 3.0.0 that brought a lot of new content and improvements. Read all about the update here. Today, the Super Mario Maker 2 version 3.0.1 update has gone live on Nintendo Switch worldwide with menu fixes and other fixes. The update download size is very small and it completed in a few seconds for me. Watch the trailer for the version 3.0.0 update below:

Full patch notes are currently available in Japanese here. These include a menu fix that resulted in you not being able control the character for a little while after closing the pause menu (Ninji) and fixes to make the overall gameplay experience better. I will update this when the English patch notes are available.
