While Trails of Cold Steel III didn’t have any save data bonuses for system save data or clear saves from Trails of Cold Steel and Trails of Cold Steel II, Trails of Cold Steel IV lets you earn bonuses from all three games. It is worth noting that Trails of Cold Steel III didn’t let you import anything because it actually released before Trails of Cold Steel and Trails of Cold Steel II in Japan while the West saw the games release in chronological order on PS4 thanks to different publishers and timelines. Despite the change in publisher from Trails of Cold Steel and II to Trails of Cold Steel III and IV, you can unlock some items and bonuses in Trails of Cold Steel IV on both PS4 and PC. On Nintendo Switch, the situation is a bit different since the first two games are not on Nintendo Switch in the West. Here’s what you need to know about Trails of Cold Steel IV save data bonuses from Trails of Cold Steel, Trails of Cold Steel II, and Trails of Cold Steel III.
It is worth noting that you can claim these when you start a new game so you might want to download saves uploaded to the cloud or ensure you have the save data on your system from earlier games before starting a new save file in Trails of Cold Steel IV.

Trails of Cold Steel III clear save data in Trails of Cold Steel IV
For a clear save file from Trails of Cold Steel III, you can earn various rewards depending on your character level in it, academy grade, and instructor rank. The rewards are better with a higher academy grade and instructor rank as you’d expect. Your character level will net you various in-game boost items. These change if your level is below 65, 65 or higher, and 75 or higher. This applies to PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Trails of Cold Steel IV save data bonus for Nintendo Switch
Sadly, there is no way as of now to get the Trails of Cold Steel I and II save data bonus in the Nintendo Switch version of Trails of Cold Steel IV. I had assumed it would’ve been changed to give Trails of Cold Steel III players the same bonus in addition to I and II since those two games are not on Nintendo Switch.
