The Wonderful 101 Remastered releases next week digitally on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. We reviewed the Nintendo Switch version and enjoyed it quite a bit. PlatinumGames’ formerly Wii U only game has been available to backers of the Kickstarter project. According to a detailed report by Digital Foundry, the resolution and frame rate for The Wonderful 101 Remastered have been revealed for all platforms.

The Wonderful 101 Remastered frame rate

According to the video linked above, The Wonderful 101 Remastered on only PS4 Pro and PC can deliver a sustained 60fps with all other platforms falling short. The Nintendo Switch version can drop to as low as 23fps when docked and portable overall runs a bit better. Some cut-scenes even run at 10fps lower than the Wii U original. The PS4 version can drop to 50fps in hectic battles with a worst cast drop to 40fps while PS4 Pro runs at a mostly locked 60fps.

The Wonderful 101 Remastered resolution

When it comes to resolution, The Wonderful 101 Remastered offers a native 1080p on Nintendo Switch when docked, native 720p when played in portable mode. The PS4 Pro and PS4 offer a native 1080p image while only PC can go above to 4K. It is worth noting that going above 1080p has been resulting in some camera issues on PC during some boss fights.

The Wonderful 101 Remastered releases on May 19 for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC in North America and May 22 in Europe.
