Resident Evil 2 Remake for PS4, Xbox One, and PC has been updated with a new achievement (or trophy as it’s known on the PS4). The Resident Evil 2 Remake v1.05 update has a 243MB download size on PS4 and its patch notes state a new achievement/trophy is added to the game. Labelled as ‘Chasing Jill’ the new achievement acts as a link between the events of Resident Evil 2 Remake and Resident Evil 3 Remake that’s due in April next year. Here’s how you can get it.
How to get Resident Evil 2 Remake’s Chasing Jill achievement/trophy
- Start the game as Leon or load up an old save as Leon just before getting to the Kendo Gun Shop after escaping the Racoon City Police Station.
- Get to the Kendo Gun Shop (it’s the second location you visit after the police station, if you’re starting afresh it’ll take you a few hours to get there, we’d recommend this excellent set of Resident Evil 2 Remake guides if you’re lost).
- The letter will be lying on a desk as you enter the Kendo Gun Shop.

CARTA DA JILL ENCONTRADA!

Can you get the Resident Evil 2 Remake Jill’s letter achievement/trophy in the Ghost Survivor DLC with Robert Kendo?
No you cannot. We tried. It appears to be locked to Leon’s campaign alone. Perplexing when you consider that Kendo’s Ghost Survivor campaign starts at his gun shop, which would have made it an easy unlock.
Hopefully there’s more to this than just a new piece of in-game lore. Earlier it was speculated that Resident Evil 3 Remake’s Jill Valentine may be a playable character in upcoming Resident Evil 2 Remake DLC due to how this achievement was presented on the Xbox One.
Considering that The Game Awards 2019 are less than a day away, it’s safe to say that Capcom would announce all at the event. The Resident Evil 3 Remake was officially announced at Sony’s final State of Play 2019 stream. Capcom has wasted no time making the hotly anticipated retelling of its PS1 classic available for pre-order. According to a listing spotted on Games The Shop, the Resident Evil 3 Remake India price is Rs. 3,499 on PS4 and Xbox One. Pre-orders are live now.
