At TGS 2022, Bandai Namco Entertainment announced that Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S next year. Alongside that announcement, the Season Pass 2 was revealed. This begins with a fourth DLC pack focusing on Bardock: Father of Goku TV Special. Today, the publisher announced the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot PS5 and Xbox Series X|S release date. It arrives in January worldwide physically and digitally. Watch the new release date trailer below:

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot PS5 and Xbox Series X upgrade

Update: Bandai Namco Entertainment confirmed that the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S upgrade will be free for all owners of the PS4 and Xbox One versions. Hopefully a native physical release also happens for PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot PS5 and Xbox Series X frame rate

Details for Season Pass 2 include a complete reproduction of the classic story letting you face off against Frieza in a boss battle, interact with other Saiyans and members of the Frieza Force between missions.
