Following the announcement of Earth Defense Force 6, D3 Publisher revealed and released the voxel spin-off Earth Defense Force experience for Nintendo Switch and PS4 in the form of Earth Defense Force: World Brothers. Earth Defense Force: World Brothers finally releases next month in the West on PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. D3 Publisher just revealed (via Gematsu) that Nintendo Switch is getting two more Earth Defense Force games in Japan with Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space and Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable beginning with the former releasing this July in Japan. Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space will arrive on July 15 in Japan for Nintendo Switch and it will be based on the PS Vita version.

It is going to be interesting to see when these get announced for the West. D3 Publisher will likely not say anything until Earth Defense Force: World Brothers has released.
