The Etrian Odyssey III HD pre-order or early purchase bonus is the Character Portrait DLC Set 1. It adds two character portraits to your party:
- Joker from Persona 5 Royal
- Ringo from Soul Hackers 2
Note: These portraits can only be accessed on Etrian Odyssey HD.
What is the Etrian Odyssey II HD pre-order bonus?
The Etrian Odyssey II HD pre-order or early purchase bonus is the Character Portrait DLC Set 2. It adds two character portraits to your party:
- Demi-fiend from Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne
- Teddie from Persona 4 Golden
Note: These portraits can only be accessed on Etrian Odyssey II HD.
What is the Etrian Odyssey III HD pre-order bonus?
The Etrian Odyssey III HD pre-order or early purchase bonus is the Character Portrait DLC Set 3. It adds two character portraits to your party:
- Nahobino from Shin Megami Tensei V
- Aigis from Persona 3 Portable
Note: These portraits can only be accessed on Etrian Odyssey III HD.
How to access the Etrian Odyssey Origins Collection DLC portraits?
- Try registering a new adventurer from the guild.
- After you select a class, look for the DLC button on the bottom right of the screen.
- Press the button to access DLC portraits (X on Switch and Y on an Xbox controller or Triangle on a PlayStation controller).
- Choose the portrait you want to use.
- If you don’t see the DLC, make sure you have downloaded the DLC or it has downloaded with your pre-load. Download the DLC or ensure it has been downloaded by clicking properties on Steam, and making sure the DLC box is checked for each game. On Switch, it should download with the pre-load, but you can force it to download by clicking your profile and going to the re-download section and scrolling to the Etrian Odyssey games to download the downloadable content per game. If it isn’t visible here, it is already downloaded or you don’t qualify for the free DLC and need to buy them.
Can you buy the Etrian Odyssey HD collection portraits later?
Yes, the sets will be sold separately from June 14 for $2.99 per game. These DLC portraits are available free with purchases of the full games or the collection until June 14 at 8 AM PDT on both Switch and Steam.
Can you use the Etrian Odyssey DLC portraits in all three games?
The DLC is specific to each game so Joker and Ringo can only be used in Etrian Odyssey HD and not II or III.
