With Fairy Tail’s release coming this Friday (or Thursday depending on timezone) after a few delays, Koei Tecmo and Gust have detailed the first update for the game. Fairy Tail is getting a free update on August 6 adding photo mode and support for upcoming DLC. The same day, Lyon, Levy, Lisanna, and Elfman will be available as DLC characters in addition to multiple costume sets. In addition to the costume sets and characters, it is going to be interesting to see when Koei Tecmo makes the Digital Deluxe Edition content available for those who have pre-ordered the standard edition or for those who buy a physical version. Watch the livestream showcasing the costumes and DLC below:

Fairy Tail photo mode features

The photo mode will let you customise costumes and poses in addition to placing party members in various locations for photographs. This includes frames, filters, time of day options, and more. Atelier Ryza’s photo mode update arrived around launch as well.
