Square Enix revealed the original release date for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition at TGS 2019 with a showcase of new features and content planned for the remaster of a GameCube classic. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition includes full cross-platform play and save across PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. It was previously delayed beyond the January release date for some adjustments to ensure the best possible experience for players. Today, more details for the remaster have been confirmed in a new features trailer that also reveals a lite demo version. Watch the new trailer below:

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition demo release date

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition Lite is a sampler for PS4 and Nintendo Switch that releases on the same day as the full version and includes the first three dungeons of the game.

This can be used to play with those who own the paid version and the free version. If a Lite version connects to a full version, the whole game can be played. On iOS and Android, the game will be released for free with the same content as the Lite edition on consoles and an in app purchase can upgrade it to the full content.

As of now, a PC version hasn’t been announced but Square Enix usually brings Japanese games to PC months later like they did with Dragon Quest Builders 2 recently.
