Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age debuted on PS4 before it was ported to PC via Steam with a few additional features and visual options. Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is an amazing remaster of a PS2 classic that was given new life on PS4. Square Enix brought it to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch in 2019 with more features and enhancements. Today, Square Enix surprise updated both the PS4 and PC versions of Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age with the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch gameplay improvements and features. Watch the trailer for the Xbox One version below:

The update adds support for the job reset function which gives you more flexibility in your play-style. The gambit system in-game has been expanded to three sets as well on both PS4 and PC. The PC version sees Denuvo removed as well. The official PC announcement for the update is here. This is a very surprising update because Square Enix rarely fixes issues on older ports. Hopefully the PS4 and PC versions of Dragon Quest XI see some of the Nintendo Switch version’s features brought in through an update.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is now available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
