At the Nintendo Direct that just aired a few hours ago, Square Enix and Nintendo announced a brand new tactical RPG for Nintendo Switch in the form of Project Triangle Strategy. Project Triangle Strategy continues the gorgeous aesthetic from Octopath Traveler but in a tactical RPG setting. It is in development to launch exclusively on Nintendo Switch next year. In Project Triangle Strategy, decisions made affect the story and which characters join you in the journey. Square Enix is also calling this the newest title in the HD-2D (this was used to describe Octopath Traveler) series.
