At a prior Nintendo Direct, Koei Tecmo America and Europe revealed Samurai Warriors 5 for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC as the newest numbered entry in the long running Samurai Warriors series that hasn’t had a new game since the PS4 and PC release Samurai Warriors Spirit of Sanada. After previously confirming the Samurai Warriors 5 release date, Koei Tecmo revealed four new characters and two variations of the main characters bringing the total number of playable characters to 27 previously. Today, Koei Tecmo revealed two new characters for the lineup bringing the total to 37. In addition to that, Samurai Warriors 5 Digital Deluxe Edition, season pass, and more have been revealed.

Samurai Warriors 5 playable characters
Samurai Warriors 5 includes 27 playable characters including new and returning characters including Ieyasu Tokugawa, Hideyoshi Hashiba, Yoshimoto Imagawa, and more. The remaining characters will be revealed in the future.
