At New Game Plus Expo 2021 last night, NIS America announced the release date for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV for PC. This follows the recent Trails of Cold Steel IV Nintendo Switch release date announcement. Trails of Cold Steel IV debuted on PS4 last year and earned a spot on our best soundtracks of 2020 and best PS4 games of 2020 lists. Read my review of the PS4 version here. The final game in the Trails of Cold Steel saga was announced for PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch and both PC and Nintendo Switch owners will get to experience it next month. Trails of Cold Steel IV save transfer bonus
While NIS America is yet to reveal if Nintendo Switch owners will get the save transfer bonus for Trails of Cold Steel I and II since the games are not on the platform yet, details for the Trails of Cold Steel IV save transfer bonus from prior games are here.
Trails of Cold Steel IV releases on April 9 in North America and Europe and April 16 in Australia for Nintendo Switch. It is available now on PS4 and is in development for PC.
