Following Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja’s reveal of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty at the Microsoft showcase back in June, I got to try the new action RPG masocore experience from Team Ninja featuring Fumihiko Yasuda (Nioh) and Masaaki Yamagiwa (Bloodborne) through an early preview code. Read my thoughts here. Today, a new FAQ posted by Team Ninja reveals information on many aspects of the game including what its PC port with support at launch and what is coming later on. The FAQ reveals that the PC version of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will support 120fps. It will not have VRR support, but 120hz will be supported by the Steam and Microsoft Store PC versions only. The FAQ also says that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty DLSS and XeSS Support will arrive post-launch in an update.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on Steam Deck is unsupported according to Team Ninja

What’s interesting about the FAQ is that it says Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is “Steam Deck unsupported”. Considering the build I played did run on Steam Deck, albeit with many visual compromises, I’m interested to know if this means the developers will not be supporting the game for Steam Deck, or whether it actually will not be playable (literally not the Valve branding) at all. I’m going to be covering the final build of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on PC and console, so I will definitely be testing this out.
