Atelier Sophie 2: The Alchemist of the Mysterious Dream from Koei Tecmo and Gust is finally here. It is the series‘ first worldwide simultaneous release on multiple platforms and a fantastic entry. Today, the Atelier Sophie 2 version 1.0.1 update has just gone live on Nintendo Switch alongside the Atelier Sophie 2 version 1.01 update on PS4 (and PS5). The download size is about 66MB on Nintendo Switch and 158MB on PS4. This update adds a new difficulty level, support for the Blue Reflection: Second Light save data bonus, and more.

The Switch update notes are likely same as the PS4 one. It adds:
- Added new maximum difficulty: Legendary.
- Added photo mode enhancement update.
- Made adjustments to accommodate the Blue Reflection: Second Light early purchase joint bonus: Ao’s Uniform.

If you’ve been interested in the Atelier series but don’t know where to start, read this. Atelier Sophie 2 is a fantastic new entry in the series and I can’t wait to see how it evolves with more updates and DLC.
