Monster Hunter Rise version 3.0 from Capcom is out now worldwide on Nintendo Switch and it brings support for new Hub quests but also a continuation of Event Quests. If you’ve not got the game yet, read my review of Monster Hunter Rise here. Today, a new Event Quest has gone live and accessing Event Quests in Monster Hunter Rise differs from Monster Hunter World. This feature will be updated regularly when new Event Quests are added with their rewards and more. Here’s what you need to know.

This Event Quest has you hunting a Tetranadon in the Lava Caverns. You need to be HR4 and higher for it.

You can unlock the Ninjutsu gesture from the Monster Hunter Rise – Out of Sight, Out of Mind’s Eye Event Quest. This quest isn’t anything special and you should have no trouble with the Tetranadon.

Monster Hunter Rise – Beast of the Shadows Event Quest guide

This Event Quest has you hunting a Nargacuga in the Shrine Ruins. You need to be HR4 or higher for it and it is a 7* quest despite Nargacuga not being a 7* monster in the hub.

Monster Hunter Rise – Beast of Shadows Event Quest rewards

You can unlock the Ninja Set stickers from the Monster Hunter Rise – Beast of the Shadows Event Quest.

Monster Hunter Rise – Heart of a Warrior Event Quest guide

This Event Quest has you hunting a Goss Harag and Magnamalo in the Arena. It is a 3* quest and you can unlock some titles by completing it. This is another standard quest with just two regular Low Rank monsters with no modifiers or anything different. If you’ve not hunted both of them beyond the key quests, this is definitely a fun hunt for Low Rank hunters.

Monster Hunter Rise – Heart of a Warrior Event Quest rewards

You unlock special titles for your guild card from the Monster Hunter Rise – Heart of a Warrior Low Rank Event Quest. The titles are: Spearheader, One Clean Cut, Exemplary, Bold Hero, Haggard Warrior, Dreadnought, Warrior, Warring Lands, World Gone Mad, and Skirmish.

Monster Hunter Rise – Haste Makes Waste Event Quest guide

The Monster Hunter Rise – Haste Makes Waste Event Quest has you taking on an Apex Arzuros in the Flooded Forest. You need to be HR8 or higher for this quest. You can earn materials for rewards shown below through this event quest.

Completing the Monster Hunter Rise – Haste Makes Waste Event Quest will let you craft the Cunning Specs armor pictured above through the Wisdom Crystal material as a quest reward.

You need the following items and 9000 Zenny to craft the Cunning Specs as a Special armor at the smithy:

  • 4 x Wisdom Crystal
  • 2 x Apex Beastclaw
  • 2 x Firecell Stone
  • 2 x Elder Dragon Blood

The Monster Hunter Rise – I Can’t Do What Somnacan Event Quest has you taking on a Somnacanth in the Frost Islands. You need to be HR4 or higher for this quest. You can earn a gesture by completing this.

The Monster Hunter Rise – Bird Wyverns of Ruin Event Quest has you taking on a Great Baggi, Kulu-Ya-Ku, and a Great Izuchi in the Arena. There are no pre-requisites for this quest. This is one of the easiest event quests.

You earn Satsui no Hado event-exclusive materials which you can use to craft the Akuma layered armor for your hunter. You need 4 of this material to craft the armor.

Monster Hunter Rise – How to download Event Quests and access them

Once you have updated your game whenever applicable, talk to Senri the Mailman in Kamura Village. You also talk to Senri for accessing DLC and add-ons. Once you talk to Senri, claim add-on content and the Event Quest(s) will be added to your game. Once you’ve done this, begin an Event Quest either on your own or through the Join Request feature in the Hub under the new green Event Quests tab on the quest board.

Monster Hunter Rise future Event Quests schedule

Capcom will continue to add more Event Quests to Monster Hunter Rise in between and with each Title Update going by the updates so far. Hopefully we get some nice collaboration quests as well like in prior games once the Capcom Collaborations begin.

Monster Hunter Rise is out now on Nintendo Switch. It releases in 2022 for PC via Steam.
