Nintendo just released the Animal Crossing: New Horizons version 1.3.1 update on Nintendo Switch. This update arrives after the big update that brought swimming and diving among other things in the form of the 1.3.0 update and the prior 1.2.1 update. The update download size is very small for 1.3.1 update just like prior updates and the game updated in a few seconds on my console. This update is the first small update with fixes following the Summer Update Wave 1 adding swimming, diving, and a lot more. The update focusses on fixing the zen bridge issue and wet suit related things. Watch the trailer for the previous update below:

Animal Crossing New Horizons version 1.3.1 update patch notes

  • Addressed issue where players could not properly use a zen bridge or red zen bridge placed on top of a cliff (third tier).
  • Addressed issue where a wet suit would not be available for sale within Nook’s Cranny.
  • Addressed issue where hermit crabs would appear in places other than the beach.
  • Addressed issue where a dialogue bubble would improperly appear after speaking with island residents.
