Bandai Namco Entertainment revealed Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions a while ago for PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The upcoming football game developed by Tamsoft went up for pre-order digitally in India on the PS Store and Steam as well but it will not be releasing here at retail from e-Xpress Interactive (Bandai Namco Entertainment’s distributor for India). In the past, e-Xpress Interactive has skipped bringing many licensed anime games to India like My Hero One’s Justice 2 and even the recently released Sword Art Online: Alicization Lycoris. Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is getting a physical release in India a bit later than the release date thanks to MCube Games who have been bringing various Nintendo games to India. Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions PS4 India release date and editions
Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions releases on August 28 worldwide but the India release date for the PS4 physical edition is September 10 as confirmed by MCube Games. MCube Games also confirmed to The Mako Reactor that the PS4 release will be the PEGI UK version which means any DLC bought or redeemed on the PS Store in India will work without issues. The game will ship out beginning September 6 and the store is also planning to bring in the collector’s edition on PS4 soon. The collector’s edition includes the following:
The collector’s edition is priced at 150 Euros which is approximately Rs. 13,180. No pricing details are available for the India release as of this writing.

Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is priced at Rs. 3,499 on the PS Store in India. The physical PS4 release is priced at Rs. 4,299 on MCube Games. On Steam, Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions is priced at Rs. 2,999. On Nintendo Switch, the game is priced at $59.99 on the eShop which is approximately Rs. 4,460.
MCube Games also confirmed to The Mako Reactor that it might bring in the Nintendo Switch version of the game but nothing on that front has been confirmed yet.
