The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III and Trails of Cold Steel IV from NIS America and Nihon Falcom are available on PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch in the West. Trails of Cold Steel IV is a fantastic and massive JRPG that is a great conclusion to a story that is worth experiencing. Read my review of the PS4 Pro version here. Today, as spotted by Gematsu, Trails of Cold Steel III and IV have been rated for PS5 release by the ESRB in North America. An official announcement is likely imminent. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III and IV PS5 physical release
NIS America will almost certainly do a physical release, but it remains to be seen if both games are in a bundle or sold separately. I hope all DLC is included with save transfer, but I wouldn’t expect the latter given NIS America’s recent PS5 ports of the Caligula games or Ys games that had no save transfer.
