With Nioh 2 finally set to release on PS5 and PC later this week, Team Ninja, Sony, and Koei Tecmo have pushed out the Nioh 2 version 1.24 update on PS4 with support for cross save, various adjustments, and more to ensure that players transitioning to PS5 from PS4 can carry over their progress. The final major Nioh 2 DLC released alongside the Nioh 2 version 1.20 update and there have been multiple updates since then with support for new DLC and various fixes. The Nioh 2 version 1.24 update is rolling out worldwide right now on PS4. The Nioh 2 version 1.24 update download size is 335.7MB. This update follows Nioh 2 version 1.23. Nioh 2 version 1.24 update patch notes
- Cross-save management function added: You can select this function from the “SYSTEM” option on the title screen. Save data from the PS4 version can be uploaded, then downloaded to the PS5 version allowing you to continue playing. It is also possible to to transfer from the PS5 version to the PS4 version. You need to have the same PSN account to download and upload the save data.
- Trophies are handled differently in the PS5 and PS4 versions. Some trophies that have already been earned (those that are difficult to earn again) will be automatically acquired when the save data is loaded.
- PS5 version cross-matching support: The PS5 version does not allow matching by Friends. To play with a specific user, please use a password.

The Nioh Collection PS5 India release date
As of now, The Nioh Collection for PS5 has not been announced for India. Hopefully it does get confirmed for India since the official global release date is February 5.
