Capcom is set to air a new Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak Title Update 5 livestream a few hours from now focusing on the newest free title update for the Switch and Steam versions of the game. The Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak release date for PS5, PS4, and Xbox platforms is set for April 28, and those will ship with title update 3 (version 13) which is the Chaotic Gore Magala update. I played the expansion for review on both Switch and Steam for its original launch last year. We awarded Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak our overall Game of the Year for 2022 as well. Read my review of the PC version here, Steam Deck performance review here, and Nintendo Switch review here. Today’s livestream will hopefully tell us when the remaining updates are hitting Xbox and PlayStation as well in addition to a potential new roadmap for the game.
